This versatile unit allows you to have a capable table saw wherever you go. It is small enough to fit in the van, but still has a cutting capacity of 70mm thickness with 635mm rip capacity. The BiTurbo system is a two-stage improvement, combining a brushless motor with high output ProCore batteries. The saw can run from standard Bosch Professional GBA 18V batteries, but Bosch recommend using their ProCore 18V range of at least 5.5Ah to deliver the most power to the brushless motor. 

This saw will change the way you work on site, giving you much more flexibility compared to having to cut material in your workshop or even having to find a power source for your corded machine. The brushless DC motor gives many advantages over older brushed motors including; higher torque, longer runtime, lower maintenance (no brushes to replace).

The GTS 18V-216 is compatible with most dust extraction systems allowing for safe low dust working environments. Some excellent quality of life features this saw has are a motor brake, that uses the motor to bring the blade to a stop much faster than otherwise. It also has soft-start, meaning the unit doesn’t violently shake when you start the motor. Electronic restart protection also stops the tool starting up if a battery is inserted while the switch is in the ‘on’ position. The power switch is extra safe and is a lever that you pull toward you to start, which can then be pushed back in with your hand or even with your knee should both your hands be occupied.

The saw is incredibly easily transported, with storage space onboard for all of the accessories to allow the table top surface to be flat when not in use. This includes storage for the blade guard, bevel guide, push stick, rip fence and spanner. The blade can riving knife can be lowered completely into the body using the height control. Once packed up, it can be carried by one person alone without the need for a rolling stand. You can opt to purchase this table saw along with an excellent value scissor stand which takes up very little space when stored.
