Part of the Dewalt laser measuring tools the DCE088D1G 10.8V Cross Line Green Laser is an ideal tool for any professional tradesman or avid DIY enthusiast and the laser is suitable for use in commercial and domestic environments. The laser features a green beam which is becoming more and more prevalent over in laser measuring tools. The reason for this been that green lasers offer a longer working range and are more visible to the eye in comparison to red lasers. The DCE088G1G has 2 laser beams that provide a bright projection against horizontal and vertical lines. It has a self – levelling feature to 4º enabling use on uneven surfaces. It features a variable blink sequence for manual use and a constant pulse mode for use with a detector, while it maintains full beam brightness for visibility. The laser features a pivoting magnetic base with a 1/4″ thread and incorporates a locking pendulum to prevent internal damage to components. With a detector the laser has an operational distance of 60 metres and 30 metres without, while also boasting an accuracy of +- 3mm at a 10 metre range. It features a 10.8V 2.0 aH battery pack that provides power and longer use to the laser. Other features include a waterproof overmold and sturdy manufacture in accordance with the IP65 standard, ensuring strength and durability making it an ideal tool in severe working environments. It has also been drop tested at a 2 metre height. The laser incorporates Dewalts trademark yellow and black colours.
