This comes in very handy when needing to use a smaller driver with a larger socket. It is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel and as with all Draper Expert socket parts it has been hardened and tempered and given a polished finish. The male side of the converter has a spring loaded ball bearing which helps to secure the socket.
