Ideal for heavy or more precise coverage, the drop spreader from Scotts Evergreen is a well-built machine that drops seeds in a line below. This makes it perfect for use with grass seed, lawn treatments, moss killer and much more. To release the seed you pull on a lever near the handle, the harder you pull the more seed will be released. To give a more granular control, you can also adjust the rate control dial just before the lever, which will set the maximum that the seed drop bar will open. Scott’s Evergreen have been improving the design of their spreaders over their years of experience, and it shows in how easy to put together this spreader is compared to previous generations.
