They are ideal for cutting the work from beneath, allowing perfect visibility of the cut line. The DJV181 comes with several features that make life a lot easier during use, such as the soft start and soft no-load. This means that when you start the powerful brushless motor, it quickly ramps up to full power instead of delivering it all at once in a jolt. The soft no-load feature detects when the blade isn’t cutting anything and automatically reduces the motor speed, a great way to reduce hand vibration when idling. The speed can be varied easily with the speed control dial. The blade moves in an oscillating motion for more effective cutting of thick materials, and the amount of oscillation can be changed, or turned off entirely if a straight up-and-down cut is preferred.
