This version of the DUX multi-tool system runs on a single 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery from the comprehensive LXT slide-pack range. The kit includes a 5.0 Amp-hour capacity battery that will give you plenty of runtime, but it will also work with any other LXT 18V battery including those from standard power tools.

The tools are driven by a powerful Brushless DC motor that not only delivers better torque and cordless battery runtime, but also gives better reliability and requires no maintenance. The basic motor unit alone comes with a shoulder strap and a loop handle for excellent control.

The onboard electronics protect the machine, the battery and the user; AFT or Active Feedback Sensing Technology monitors the rotation speed and shuts the tool down to protect the user if it detects a sudden slow-down that may indicate a jam. Overload protection prevents the motor from drawing too much power from the battery pack.
