It can drill up to 18mm diameter holes using a TCT drill bit, and when combined with a diamond core, can drill an impressive diameter of 65mm. It delivers 1.4 Joules of impact energy up to 4800 times per minute making light work of masonry and concrete. The HR1840 can also be used with timber and steel thanks to the rotation-only mode switch that disables the impact action.
