Available in various weights, these rubber mallets are excellent for soft-striking, reducing the chances of damaging the object and also providing a much better experience when hitting chisels for woodworking. The 16oz mallet has a 55mm face diameter, the 24oz has a 60mm diameter and the 32oz 70mm. The shaft is made from long lasting hardwood that is secured to the head with a pin as well as glue.
