This combination tool from SIP has both a scroll saw and a flexible multi-tool driveshaft. This gives you the ability to attach rotary tool bits such as grinding wheels, sanding accessories, polishing stones and more. A scroll saw is the perfect way to cut shapes out from the centre of a workpiece, as unlike a bandsaw, they use reciprocating motion on a removable straight blade, rather than a long continuous blade. Simply drill a hole in the workpiece, remove the blade from the saw, pass it through the drilled hole, and reattach the blade. While sawing, the integrated bellows blower directs airflow at the cut area, blowing sawdust away for better visibility. Also for visibility is the integrated work light which is on a flexible arm to allow you to get it into the right spot. The saw is powered by a 90 Watt motor, which can have the speed adjusted via a dial on the front, depending on the material and application. The saw can accept either pin-ended blades or pin-less thanks to the included adaptors. The table of the saw is manufactured from cast aluminium and can be adjusted between 45 degrees and 90 degrees. When cutting hazardous materials such as MDF, you can attach a dust extractor to the port on the front of the machine to reduce exposure. The flexible drive comes with a 64 piece accessory set and works with standard flexi-drive accessories.
